Frequently asked questions

Before you
buy.

Digital editions are delivered as PDFs immediately after successful checkout. A saved PDF is yours to keep for personal use. Codex ISO editions add editorial context, provenance and reading structure to source texts; they are not claims that every tradition surrounding a text is historically established.

What am I buying?

A prepared Codex ISO digital reading edition in PDF format.

Is this a subscription?

No. Each listed edition is a one-off purchase unless a product explicitly says otherwise.

Are these texts “banned”?

Not necessarily. “Non-canonical”, “lost”, “suppressed” and “excluded” can describe very different histories. Our record pages aim to state what the evidence actually supports.

Can I share the PDF?

Your purchased Codex ISO edition is licensed as a personal copy. Do not redistribute the designed edition itself.
