What sits outside the New Testament?
Early Christian literature includes teaching manuals, letters, narratives, dialogues and revelations. Their absence from a modern Bible does not mean they all had the same status or history.
Why manuscripts matter
A work may survive in one manuscript, several witnesses or a later historical translation. Codex ISO states the edition scope before interpreting what the text means.
