Who are the archons?
Archons are rulers or authorities. Their roles vary by text, so the term must be read within each surviving work rather than treated as a fixed modern doctrine.
Read across the witnesses
The Hypostasis of the Archons and On the Origin of the World offer especially useful parallel routes into creation, rulers and humanity, while Sophia and Primal Thought texts develop related ideas differently.
